A new Sony RX camera was supposed to be already announced multiple times according to sketchy online sources. Nokishita finally reported some reliable info on what's next from Sony - a new RX100 VII (not a new Rx1 or RX10 as already reported online). Here are the rumored Sony RX100 VII specs:
- Blackout-free continuous shooting at up to about 20 fps with AF performance equivalent to the Sony α9
- 1.0" stacked CMOS sensor
- The world's fastest AF for a camera with 1" sensor
- BIONZ X
- 24-200mm f/2.8-4.5 lens
- Tiltable touchscreen (180 degrees up and 90 degrees down)
- 4K HDR video
- Price: £1,199 (around $1,500)
The soon-to-be-released Sony "RX100 VII" seems to be capable of blackout-free continuous shooting at up to about 20 fps with AF performance equivalent to α9. According to the information provided at overseas dealers, the main features of the Sony "RX100 VII" are the 1.0 type stacked CMOS, the world's fastest AF as a 1.0 type machine, BIONZ X, 24-200 mm f2.8-4.5 , tilt-type touch panel liquid crystal capable of angle adjustment up to about 180 degrees and down to about 90 degrees, it seems like 4K HDR video. The price in the UK is £ 1199.
