Techart has a new LM-EA9 AF adapter (Leica M lenses to Sony Alpha cameras)

Techart will soon announce a new LM-EA9 AF adapter (for attaching Leica M lenses on Sony Alpha cameras with AF support) that will replace the Techart LM-EA7 version (already discontinued). Here is what we know so far:

  • The LM-EA9 has improved, faster, and quieter AF
  • The new version uses four stepper motors instead of one motor in the previous version
  • Smaller size – the new model is round without the bump present in the previous version
  • Stronger and durable design and can be used with larger/heavier lenses
  • No price or release date is available yet
