Fujifilm announced that its next X Summit and Fujikina events are coming in April 2023 and it is fair to assume that there will be several new product announcements:
"Fujifilm should announce new lenses and camera details for the GFX and X-mount at the event, so make sure you stay tuned for updates throughout the year and pick up a 5th-generation X-Trans camera below to start the new year off right. Fujifilm’s AF performance just keeps getting better. With the Fujifilm X-T2, we reached good enough AF performance, but I believe that 5th generation X-Trans will begin to see parity with companies like Sony with firmware updates to come."
