Canon EOS R8 + EOS R50 cameras and RF 24-50mm + RF-S 55-210mm lenses are now officially announced

The previously rumored and leaked Canon EOS R8 + EOS R50 cameras and RF 24-50mm + RF-S 55-210mm lenses are now officially announced:


A brief overview of the new products:

  • EOS R8 Body - Combines high-performance full-frame capabilities with a new compact design
  • EOS R50 Body - Experience joy of creativity with APS-C camera that makes photography fun, simple and convenient.
  • RF-S55-210mm F5-7.1 IS STM - An affordable, versatile telephoto zoom lens that gets you closer to the action
  • RF 24-50mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM - A wide to standard 2X zoom lens, ideal from everyday photos to special occasions.

Canon recently started a new rebates program in the US (Adorama and B&H) and Europe (Foto Koch, Foto Erhardt, Calumet):
