Canon conducted market research for a retro-designed digital camera

According to a post on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, Canon has recently conducted market research through multiple channels about the potential interest in releasing a retro-designed digital camera (I assume mirrorless). I am not surprised, since it seems that Canon is the only company that has not introduced a “retro” model yet.
