On January 20, 2024, MonsterAdapter officially announced the previously rumored LA-FE2: a new generation Nikon F-mount lens to Sony E-mount camera electronic adapter, with both a focus motor and aperture motor built-in. The new adapter replaces the previous LA-FE1 version and should soon be listed for pre-order at Amazon and B&H Photo.

LA-FE2 is an evolved version of MonsterAdapter’s popular electronic adapter LA-FE1, which can drive traditional Nikkor AF lenses (such as D lenses) released since 1987. Lenses supported by LA-FE1 are completely retained on LA-FE2, making the number of lenses that LA-FE2 can drive autofocus has exceeded 200 at the time of release.
In the software part, the functions and advantages of LA-FE1 have been effectively retained and inherited.
