The new Panasonic Lumix S 18-40mm f/4.5-6.3 lens for L-mount is on display for the first at the 2024 P&I show in Shanghai

At the 25th Shanghai International Photographic Equipment and Digital Imaging Exhibition (P&I 2024), Panasonic displayed for the first time their upcoming Lumix S 18-40mm f/4.5-6.3 lens for L-mount:

The new compact lens has a minimum focusing distance of 0.15m, and it seems to be a perfect fit for the recently announced Panasonic Lumix S9 full-frame camera (the lens was announced together with the S9):
