New Thypoch Simera 75mm f/1.4 lens announced

The previously leaked Thypoch Simera 75mm f/1.4 lens is now officially announced. Orders are now open at the Thypoch website.

Thypoch lenses are also sold through B&H Photo and Amazon,

Key features of the Simera 75mm f/1.4 lens:

  • 16 iris blades for perfectly rounded bokeh at any stop
  • No visible onion rings
  • Low color aberration at f/1.4
  • 8 elements in 9 groups
  • MFD of 0.6m
  • Classic automatic depth-of-field indicator
  • Clicked and de-clicked modes for aperture adjustment
  • Subtle resistance of rangefinder coupling disengagement at 0.7m
  • Available in black and silver finish
  • Shipping starts in March
  • For now the lens is available only for Leica M-mount
