The upcoming Leica M10-P “Reporter” limited-edition camera will have Kevlar armor


   
The upcoming/rumored Leica M10-P “Reporter” limited-edition camera will have Kevlar armor in response to this story from last year. Here are the other details according to Leica Rumors:

  • The Leica M10-P “Reporter” limited-edition camera will be sold without a lens.
  • The camera body price should be around €7,800 including tax.
  • The camera will not come with a 35mm f/2.0 Summicron lens as indicated in the picture above.
  • The matching Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH “Reporter” limited-edition lens will be sold separately.
  • Only 450 pieces of the M10-P “Reporter” camera and matching 28mm f/2 lens will be produced.
  • Shipping will start in January 2021.
  • The Leica M10-P “Reporter” camera will have Kevlar armor.
  • The camera was announced to commemorate the 40th-anniversary celebration of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award:
