Leica to announce a newly rebranded Sigma lens (Leica VARIO-ELMAR-SL 100-400mm f/5-6.3) and teleconverter


Leica will soon announce the previously rumored Leica VARIO-ELMAR-SL 100-400mm f/5-6.3 lens and a 1.4x SL teleconverter (see the leaked US pricing here). The new Leica SL 100-400mm lens will most likely be based on the Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS. The lens will be made in Japan. Leica will introduce a second 2x SL teleconverter with the next Japanese-made zoom lens this summer. Additionally leaked pictures:
