Here are the latest Canon rumors and predictions for 2025:

  • Canon EOS RC: a video-focused hybrid camera that could be a competitor to the Sony FX3. It could be a bridge between the EOS and Cinema EOS lines.
  • Canon EOS R6 Mark III: an updated version of the EOS R6 Mark II with a better EVF and a new OLED touchscreen. It could have a 24 MP sensor, an articulating flippy screen, and an OLED back-screen.
  • Canon EOS R7 Mark II: a new and updated version of the EOS R7 Mark II model
  • Canon retro-inspired EOS R camera is rumored to be released near the end of 2025 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the AE-1.
  • Canon APS-C camera without EVF that resembles the EOS M6 Mark II
  • Canon G7X Mark IV compact camera
  • Canon EOS R100 Mark II
