Songraw (not Meike) announced a new AF 85mm f/1.2 MS “Youth Edition” lens made entirely of aviation-grade aluminum



As previously reported, Songraw (not Meike) announced today a new AF 85mm f/1.2 MS “Youth Edition” full-frame autofocus prime lens. The lens itself is not new – see previous coverage.  Here are the details on the new “Youth Edition” version of the Songraw 85mm f/1.2 lens made entirely of aviation-grade aluminum (in the US, Songraw lenses are sold at Amazon):

  • 18-element in 10-group, including 6 special elements, and an APO element, nano-coating
  • 13-blade aperture
  • Made entirely of aviation-grade aluminum
  • STM motor with real-time position tracking and closed-loop monitoring
  • Eye recognition autofocus
  • WSetaher sealed
  • Plastic version: 750g–780g
  • Metal version: 870g–900g

Sirui and Songraw will also announce new lenses next week
