Zeiss today posted on their Twitter account that shipment of the Compact Prime CP.2 F & MFT lenses will start this week. The CP.2 product line was introduced in September of 2010. The different lens versions cost between $3,900 and $ $4,900. More info from zeiss.com:

- Full-frame coverage (24 x 36mm ) for focal lengths 21 to 100 mm, including a 50 mm macro lens
- Common aperture of T2.1 for the standard lens set

- Four different mounts available (PL, EF, F and MFT mount)
- High stability due to support bracket, which is included for additional lens stability
- Sweet spot effect with APS-C sensors
