
JK Imaging (I think) quietly introduced a new Kodak Astro Zoom AZ901 camera with a 90x optical zoom (FIY: the Nikon Coolpix P900 camera has “only” 83x zoom). This is all the information we have so far:

Today I received confirmations on the dates for the upcoming Fuji and Olympus announcements: Fuji will have an announcement on January 15th, expected: Fuji X70, X-Pro2, X-E2S, XP90 cameras and XF 140-400mm f/4-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens Olympus will have an announcement on January 27th, expected: new Olympus PEN-F digital camera

A reader reported few days ago that there was not a single Samsung camera or lens on display at the 2016 CES show in Las Vegas. There have been multiple reports in the past few months that Samsung is/will be pulling out of the camera business. There is still no official confirmation from the company.
