The new Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 lens is listed on Amazon for $1,299.99. This is a very high price tag, considering that the Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2.0 lens costs “only” $799.

Panasonic announced Lumix G Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 lens for Micro Four Thirds

Panasonic announced their new Lumix G Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 lens for Micro Four Thirds. This lens was initially displayed during CES 2012. Shipping will start in August. Panasonic DMC-FZ150 camera listed as discontinued

In addition to the Sony a900, B&H now lists also the Panasonic DMC-FZ150 camera as discontinued. The FZ-150 was announced in August, 2011 – this is probably the shortest lifespan of a digital camera I have seen – only 7 months.

Panasonic files a patent for in-camera image stabilization
