The first CMOS-based medium format sensor inside the new PhaseOne IQ250 and Hasselblad H5D-50c is made by Sony according to the Luminous Landscape video above and PDNonline (post contains also few sample images). Here are few details on the new sensor:
As previously reported, today PhaseOne announced a new IQ250 digital back and just like Haseelblad claimed to be the world’s first CMOS-based medium format camera.
