
Samyang posted a teaser on their Facebook page that they will be announcing 8 new lenses – here is a possible list (from left to right):
Samyang is rumored to announce new autofocus lenses in the next few weeks. The new lenses could be for Canon EF and/or Sony FE and/or Nikon F- mounts. Samyang already has one AF lens for Nikon F-mount, two AF lenses for Canon EF-mount and several AF lenses for Sony FE-mount.
Photographyblog published pictures of a new Samyang 10mm f/3.5 full frame DSLR lens that will be available for both Nikon and Canon DSLR mounts – this is the world’s widest full-frame lens and it is expected to be released in 2019. The Samyang 10mm f/3.5 lens has a zero distortion recti-linear design and glass mold aspherical lens elements. Additional pictures:
The previously rumored Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 F full frame lens for Nikon F-mount is now officially announced. This is the first autofocus lens for Nikon F-mount. Ther are some made up rumors circulating the Web again about Samyang working together with Venus Optics (Laowa) on a new FE shift adapter. Venus Optics confirmed that such partnership never existed. Venus Optics already sales several different Laowa lens adapters (more information is available here).
As already reported a few years ago, Samyang will start making autofocus lenses for Nikon F-mount and the first lens will be the AF 14mm f/2.8 (already available for Canon mount).
