Voigtlander announced two new lenses today. The Voigtlander Nokton 1,2/35mm (Leica M-mount) was already reported here last week (the actual aperture is f/1.2 instead of the rumored f/1.1). Recently Voigtlander discontinued their Nokton 35mm f/1.2 Aspherical lens and the rumor is that a new 35mm f/1.1 version will be added to their current Color-Skopar f/2.5 PII and the Nokton Classic f/1.4 models. A second 50mm f/1.4 lens is also in development to compliment the Nokton f/1.1
Voigtländer announced the first lens for MicroFourThirds – the new Nokton 25mm f/0.95 priced at $1,199.00: The lens is manual focus only and is expected to hit the stores in October/November. Cosina (Voigtländer) officially joins Micro Four Thirds System Standard Group.
