GoPro rumored to launch consumer drones with HD cameras in 2015

The latest patents from Fuji, Ricoh and Canon

Fuji filed a patent for a 27mm and 30mm f/2.8 pancake lenses designed for APS-C mirrorless camera that could be a replacement for the Fujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 lens.

Ricoh filed a patent for an adjustable translucent mirror where the amount of reflected and transmitted light can be adjusted (0-50%; 50-100%).

Ricoh filed a patent for a 18.3mm f/2.8 lens.

Canon filed a patent for expanding the dynamic range of a sensor by creating pixels with high and low light sensitivity.

Canon filed a patent for a body cap that can clean the electronic contacts of the lens mount.

Joke of the day: Hassleblad Stellar is now $2,300 off
