The Fuji X100VI madness continues… “the most pre-ordered camera ever”

→ Fujifilm will sell only 300 limited-edition X100VI cameras in the US and if you are lucky you can get one on this page (first come, first serve basis, from March 21 through March 23). On eBay, the limited edition X100VI camera currently sells for over $4,000.

Sigma to announce a new 50mm f/1.2 DG DN | Art lens for Sony E and Leica L mount

A quick check with the Chinese social network Weibo shows that the next Sigma product announcement will be for a new Sigma 50mm f/1.2 DG DN | Art lens for Sony E and Leica L mount. The new lens will have 13 aperture blades, 77mm filter size, and should be priced under the current Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM.

New Leica D-Lux 8 camera rumored for this summer

Leica is rumored to announce a new Leica D-Lux 8 camera this summer. The interesting rumor here is that the D-Lux 8 will be sold only by Leica and there will not be an equivalent Panasonic LX100 camera. This explains why the new D-Lux 8 is labeled as Type 3952A (the D-Lux 7 was Type 3952).
