In addition to the already announced shortages for the latest EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II cameras, Canon added several more products to their supply shortage list:

Panasonic’s latest financial results: strong camera sales, decreased revenue


Panasonic released its latest financial results (Q1, 2024). The company does not disclose detailed numbers about its camera sales – they only reported strong sales and decreased revenue:

“Digital camera equipment sales were strong, but some product categories were affected by worsening market conditions resulting in a decrease in revenue.”


“Strong sales” does not really tell us much, but decreased revenue is definitely not a good sign, especially given the situation the company is currently in:
