As previously reported. Canon is pushing 3D and XR (VR/AR/MR) imaging again and is planning to release a new APS-C camera compatible with VR lenses according to an article published recently by Newswitch.

Cosina announced the release date for the new Voigtlander NOKTON 50mm f/1 Aspherical lens for Sony E-mount: March 19, 2024. A few months ago a Ricoh GR designer teased a new GR announcement. We have not seen any new GR-related developments since. There was no news even at the CP+ show in Japan last month. Ricoh Japan now announced a new temporary suspension of GR camera orders because of supply shortages (again). Here are the impacted models:
A quick check online shows that most Ricoh GR camera models are out of stock or back-ordered (with the exceptions of WEX in the UK):

Many (all?) companies got into the habit of announcing product shortages “becuase of high demand“. For the most part, I consider this to be a marketing strategy, but in the case of the new Fujifilm X100VI camera, I believe the hype is real after getting some feedback from retailers – the X100VI demand is very high and it exceeded all expectations. Today FujiFilm Japan issued an official notice about it:
“Please note that since the announcement, we have received a far greater response than expected, so please note that it may take some time for the product to be delivered. We will do our best to increase production so that we can deliver the products as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.”
