Zeiss is alive: they announced four new Supreme Radiance Prime cinema lenses today

Last year I raised some concerns that Zeiss has not announced any new lenses since April 2019 when they introduced the Zeiss Otus 100mm f/1.4. Today Zeiss sent us proof of life and announced four new Zeiss Supreme Radiance Prime cinema lenses (some of them already leaked online last year):

The Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 reflex lens is now compatible also with Canon RF and Nikon Z mounts

The Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 super-telephoto reflex MF lens that was announced last year is now also compatible with Canon RF and Nikon Z mounts. The lens comes with T-mount and can be attached to different camera mounts with adapters.

The Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 reflex lens is sold at Adorama, Amazon, and B&H.

The two new Tamron lenses will be released in June

Some additional information on the upcoming Tamron lenses:

Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD lens will be released in the first half of June (price: ¥159,500 yen including tax – around $1,400)
Tamron 11-20mm f/2.8 Di III-A RXD lens will be released in the second half of June (price: ¥88,000 yen including tax – around $800)

Is Photopia the new Photokina?

Last year Photokina got “suspended until further notice” and while I am sure the brand “Photokina” will come back in the future in one way or another, it seems that we now already have a replacement: meet Photopia Hamburg or “Festival of Imaging” – a brand new photography show that is supposed to take place in Germany (Hamburg) from September 23-26, 2021. I am not sure how many companies have already signed up for the show, but the 2021 TIPA awards are set to be announced at Photopia (not that anyone cares). The official website does not provide much information and has a lot of empty tabs, but here is a screenshot I found (click for larger view):
