A third new Sony camera registered online: WW111327 *UPDATED*


In addition to the IWW186333 and WW728473, Sony registered a third new camera that should be announced in the next 30-90 days. We already know that Sony is coming with a new high-end 8k model, then there is the Sony a7 IV and the third camera could be a new RX model as SonyAddict suggests. Stay tuned for updates.

Update – Sony also registered a new/unreleased wireless microphone ECM-W2BT compatible with Bluetooth 5.0:

Two new Sony cameras passed FCC certifications (Sony pro model and a7 IV?)

Tamron will announce a new lens on Thursday, December 3 (Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RX D APS-C zoom lens for Sony E-mount?)


Tamron Germany sent out a newsletter confirming that they will present a new lens on December 3rd, 2020 (8:30 pm CET live on their Tamron Europe YouTube channel). The rumored lens is the Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RX D APS-C zoom lens for Sony E-mount. This live stream will feature photographer Luke Stackpoole, who already shot with the new lens. Sigma launches three new “I Series” mirrorless lenses: 24mm, 35mm, and 65mm for E-mount and L-mount


The previously rumored new “I Series” lenses for E-mount and L-mount are now officially announced:

  • Sigma 35mm f/2 DG DN | Contemporary ($639): Adorama | B&H
  • Sigma 65mm f/2 DG DN | Contemporary ($699): Adorama | B&H

Key features of the new Sigma  I series lenses:

  • All I series lenses feature an all-metal body, with high-precision metal internal parts, and a metal lens hood. The 24mm F3.5 is a petal-type hood.
  • All I series lenses feature a manual aperture ring and knurled surfaces for an enjoyable tactile experience.
  • The 35mm F2 and 65mm F2 lenses feature a newly-designed arc-type auto/manual focus mode switch.
  • The 24mm F3.5, 35mm F2 and 65mm F2 lenses all feature a dust and splash-proof mount
  • The three new lenses each ship with both a plastic lens cap and a magnetic metallic cap.
  • An optional magnetic cap holder (model CH-11, MSRP $29) features a mini-carabiner for clipping to a camera bag, jacket or belt loop, and has a donut-style center hole to easily remove the cap when it is time to place it back on the lens.
