The 2020 CES show is coming soon (Sony and Panasonic press events already scheduled)

The CES show is coming soon (January 7-10) and Sony already has their press conference scheduled for January 6th, 2020 at 5:00 EST. You can watch the live stream here (maybe we will get the already leaked Sony a7S III LOL).

Panasonic will also have a press event on January 6th (10:00 – 10:45 am).

Nikon, Leica, Olympus and Fujifilm will not be part of Photokina 2020

PetaPixel reports that Fujifilm will also not take part of the upcoming Photokina 2020 show (May 27-30, 2020):

“After considering exhibiting from an overall perspective, including the launch timing of several exciting new products next year, our sales promotion plans, and cost effectiveness, we have decided not to take part in photokina 2020. We will continue to engage with our customers through other avenues including hands-on, interactive events, increasing opportunities to demonstrate the outstanding value and capability of our products and services directly to users, and strengthening the digital presence of our products. The number one priority for Fujifilm is and always will be our customers, and we will continue to make decisions based on the best ways to engage with our community.”

Nikon, Leica and Olympus will also not take part in the next Photokina.

Canon, Panasonic and Sony recently confirmed their presence at Photokina 2020.
