New Olympus IM010 camera registered online UPDATED

Olympus registered a new digital camera under the code name IM010. In addition to a new Tough TG camera, Olympus already confirmed that a major announcement is expected in May.

Update: the upcoming Olympus digital camera IM010 has passed the FCC certification. The dimensions are: 144.37 mm (width) x 146.765 mm (height) x 75.345 mm (depth). The camera will have Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth as well as USB PD support (15 V).

Venus Optics Laowa 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 full frame mirrorless lens officially announced

Venus Optics officially announced their Laowa 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 full frame mirrorless manual focus lens. The price of the lens is $849. Pre-orders are now open and the first 50 orders through Venus Optic’s website will get a free 100mm magnetic filter holder system (see the picture at the bottom of this post).

The Canon R and Nikon Z mounts will be released in a few months.

Venus Optics lenses are sold also at Adorama and B&H.
