New PONF multi-back camera project (film and digital camera in one)

There is a new project called PONF for a film and digital camera in one and I just received the first pictures of the 3D printed model of the skeleton of the camera. Here are the camera’s specifications:

November CIPA report: system camera shipments down again compared to last year

The downturn continues – the number of shipped interchangeable lens digital cameras is lower compared to the same month of last year (orange: 2017, black: 2016, blue: 2015, click for larger view). Coming soon: Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 EF lens for Canon mount (yes, autofocus)

Last year I reported about a new Samyang lens that is going to be announced on January 14th. Some more details leaked online – the new lens will be Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 EF for Canon mount (pictured above). Yes, this will be an autofocus full frame lens for Canon DSLRs cameras. No indication if the lens will be available also for Nikon F-mount cameras.
