The first Sony price increase is already here: the Sony FE 400-800mm f/6.3-8 G OSS lens is now $700 more expensive

The Sony FE 400-800mm f/6.3-8 G OSS lens is no longer available for order at B&H Photo and Adorama, and the Amazon listing is now $700 more expensive (from $2,898 to 3,599):

I did check, and the seller on Amazon (AVC Photo Store & Studio) is an authorized Sony dealer, not a third-party reseller known to inflate prices.

Leica, Fuji, and Blackmagic have already announced price increases, and Canon will follow soon:

Thypoch released new Simera 28mm & 35mm f/1.4 lenses for Leica M-mount with a new Focus Tab Type II Version

Thypoch released new Simera 28mm f/1.4 and Simera 35mm f/1.4 lenses for Leica M-mount featuring a new Focus Tab Type II Version. These versions have the same optical design as the infinity lock version. The only differences are the focusing mechanism and pricing.

The new lenses are now available for pre-order at B&H Photo.

The new Fujifilm GFX100RF camera is now shipping, no longer available for pre-order in the US

PhotoRumors was the first site to report rumors about the upcoming price increases from several brands, resulting from the new tariffs introduced by President Trump.

The first step for Fuji was to suspend orders for certain products (already in effect), including for the new Fujifilm GFX100RF camera that is already shipping to existing pre-orders – check availability at:

B&H Photo has already listed the upcoming Fujifilm X-half frame digital compact camera on their website (see rumored specs and release date), but it’s unclear how the new tariffs will impact the price and/or pre-order options.

DHL has already suspended international shipments to the US for items over $800.
