The new Leica TL2 camera: pictures and specifications leaked online

The new Leica TL2 will look very similar to the previous T/TL models. The main upgrade will be the new 24MP APS-C sensor. Here are the rumored specifications:
Sigma and Tamron may stop releasing Sony A-mounts lenses in the future

A reader recently talked to a Sigma rep who unofficially confirmed that Sigma will not produce any Sony A-mounts lenses in the future. B&H currently lists 21 Sigma lenses for Sony A-mount.

I was also told that Tamron may also stop releasing A-mount lenses unless that segment picks up (so far there is no A-mount version for the latest Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 lens). The SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di USD G2 could very well be the last Tamron lens for Sony A-mount. B&H currently lists 24 Tamron lenses for Sony A-mount.
Sony announced their last A-mount camera (the 42MP Alpha a99 II) in September 2016.
About the “debunked rumor” for a Sony camera with a 36MP APS-C sensor

A known clickbait site today “debunked” a “fake rumor” about a new Sony camera with a 36MP APS-C sensor. The only problem here is that this same site reported that exact same rumor last year, twice:

So yea, don’t believe everything you read on the Internet, especially when it’s coming from clickbait sites with a well-established history of reporting fake news, hoaxes and made-up stories (some examples available here, here and here). Obviously reporting rumors on upcoming cameras is not an exact science, and I have had my own mistakes in the past, but please use your common sense the next time you read an overhyped title with exclamation marks at the end.
Announced: RED Hydrogen One smartphone with holographic display

Today RED did not announce the modular camera they patented, but they did introduce a new smartphone (see patent here). Not a regular smartphone – the Hydrogen One is a $1,200 smartphone with a… holographic display (holographic display: “display that utilizes light diffraction to create a virtual three-dimensional image of an object, holographic displays are unique from other forms of 3D imaging in that they do not require the aid of any special glasses or external equipment for a viewer to see the image“).
Additional information on the RED Hydrogen One:
