I have mentioned on several occasions in the past that retailer’s sales ranking do not represent any real trends or superiority of one brand over another. I still find the latest data coming from Japan worth sharing here – Map Camera released their digital camera sales ranking for the month of July 2017 – I am actually surprised that there are four Nikon cameras mentioned in the list and only one Fuji and one Canon:
Here is a list of some of the upcoming/rumored announcements from Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Fuji and Leica:

The first picture of the upcoming Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.2 PRO lens leaked online. The new lens should be announced together with the rumored OM-D E-M10 III camera.
Olympus already has one 25mm f/1.2 PRO lens and is also expected to announce a third PRO lens: M.Zuiko Digital 45mm f/1.2 PRO.

Last year I already reported that the Russian camera brand Zenit is coming back to life. The company is coming with some new lenses (for example Zenitar 50mm f/0.95) and “a luxury camera” similar to Leica.
Today the Russian information agency RNS reported that in 2018 Zenit will release a new full-frame mirrorless digital camera.
The director of the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant where the new camera will be produced said this to a Russian radio station:

Cosina announced a new Voigtlander Ultron 40mm f/2 SL II S lens for Nikon F-mount. The details are available at NikonRumors:
