Zeiss teases a new 135mm f/2.8 Batis portrait tele lens for next week

A reader just sent me a link to a Zeiss teaser on their Instagram account about a new Batis portrait telephoto lens that is supposed to be announced next week (probably 135mm f/2.8, since we already have a Batis 85mm lens). Here are several photo taken with the actual lens:

Zeiss Batis 2.8/18 super wide-angle autofocus lens for Sony E-mount announced

The Zeiss Batis 2.8/18 super wide-angle autofocus lens for Sony E-mount is now officially announced. The lens will start shipping on May 5th, 2016. The recommended US retail price is $1,499 (open for pre-orders now). The EU price is €1,499 (incl. 19% sales tax). Additional information:
