The first Voigtländer lens for MicroFourThirds: Nokton 25mm f/0.95

Voigtländer announced the first lens for MicroFourThirds – the new Nokton 25mm f/0.95 priced at $1,199.00: The lens is manual focus only and is expected to hit the stores in October/November. Cosina (Voigtländer) officially joins Micro Four Thirds System Standard Group.

Carl Zeiss: “We will present new lenses and, for the first time, accessories at Photokina”

Carl Zeiss is planning to release new lenses and accessories at Photokina. No further details were provided, but one of the lenses will probably be the already leaked Zeiss Distagon ZF 1.4/35 ZF.2. Carl Zeiss claims that this will be the first time they will be releasing ”accessories”. Full press release after the break:
