Fuji’s two top cameras for CES 2011

Shown below are the two high end cameras to be introduced by Fuji at CES 2011: FinePix HS20EXR:

  • 16 MP EXR-CMOS sensor
  • 30x, 24mm-720mm equivalent lens
  • 3.0” LCD
  • electronic viewfinder

and the Fuji FinePix F550EXR:

  • 16 MP EXR-CMOS sensor
  • 15x, 24-360mm equivalent zoom
  • 3.0” 460K resolution LCD
  • full HD recording at 1080p
  • GPS geo-tagging

As previously mentioned, there will be two slightly different versions for each camera. Several other low-end point and shoot cameras will also be announced, including a new water/shock proof camera. Some models will have GPS geo-tagging.

    Nice to see that the megapixel wars are alive and well, and that Fuji has succumbed. Buh-bye, Fuji. It was nice to know ya way back when.

      Not necessarily. Their EXR system is actually pretty powerful, but would usually use lower resolutions (down to 5-8MP on older models). So having 16MP would mean they have more to work with for their EXR.
