JVC GC-PX1 camera concept

PhotographyBay has some detailed CES 2011 coverage on a new camera GC-PX1 concept from JVC:

  • 10.6MP Back-illuminated CMOS Sensor
  • 10x Optical Zoom Lens with OIS
  • 1920 x 1080 Full HD Video at 60p / 36Mbps
  • Motor Drive Shooting 30 fps at 10MP
  • High Speed Video Capture at 300fps (in VGA Resolution with Real-time Processing)
  • 32GB Built-in Memory + SDXC Card Slot

  • Just in case the on camera flash wasn’t in line with the lens enough for you, JVC have put it on the lens..

    300fps in vga mode is pretty wicked but.

  • definitely looks like a NEX. I wonder if people will complain how large the lens is on this

      Looks like a Sony DSC F707. One of the best cams I ever had and way ahead of its time (10 years ago).

    By shoving a camcorder in the lens mount, it looks to be really disproportionately balanced.
