Sony to releases a new firmware for A65 and A77

 

According to Alphamountworld, Sony have conformed that a new firmware updated for their 24MP SLT cameras will be released soon. Here is a list of some of the reported issues for the S0ny a77 model.

Today Sony Taiwan confirmed the upcoming firmware update on their website:

Sony Corporation will provide a digital SLR camera [SLT-A65] and [SLT-A77] apply the firmware update.

Firmware update release schedule: In mid-October 2011 (tentative)

Applicable product model: Digital SLR camera [SLT-A65] and [SLT-A77]

Applies to firmware version: Apply "Ver1.02" firmware version of the product

1. Macro-head flash support group HVL-MT24AM control functions.
2. to improve the response time following
- Switching LCD monitor and electronic viewfinder of the reaction time
- Reaction time before and after the control dial
- Fn function key control
3. Other functional improvements
