The reason nobody heard about the new sensors from Kodak (KAI-16070 has 16MP, 35mm optical format, 7.4um pixel; KAI-16050 is APS-H optical format 16MP and 5.5um pixel) is probably because Kodak sold its image sensor business to Platinum Equity for an undisclosed amount.
