is the native ISO25,600 of the canon 5d3 better than the nikon D3S??

    • D400

      no

      • lynn

then that means canon ISO25,600= nikon ISO6,400??? So confused!!!

Since the native iso of nikon D3s is ISO12,800, and the canon at the maximum native iso is not better.

    • A Better Question

A better question to ask is, “why do you need to shoot at ISO 25,600?”

It is not from what I’ve seen in the samples…

That new Canon baby sure does looks sooo cute. Big rounded plastic looking body trzing to hide the true weight. And that plastic looking paint and rubber finish don’t do it any favors either…
Kinda reminds me of those Fuji Instax on the lover pictures. Just in black and with a gun attached.

And what is with Canon and their pricing of new products? That new red ring 24-70mm price is crazy! (actually that word is to weak for the emotion…)

    /end rant! 😛

      One man’s meat…..
Totally agree with you on the silly pricing, but to me the look/feel of the 5D3 seems better than the D800 – it appears to be very much more robust than the mk2. (Just my view/opinion – but it is as a Nikon user). Remains to be seen how they will actually compare though……
