The latest patents from Sony, Canon, Olympus and Konica Minolta

Sony filed a patent 2013-54164 for 16-135mm f/3.5-5.6 and 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 APS-C lenses. Sony also patented (2013-50630) a half mirror that will not “black out” during exposure. Canon filed a patent (2013-57802) for a 50mm f/1.4 lens. The patent contains also calculations for a 50mm f/1.2 lens.
