Sony-DT-18-55mm-f3.5-5.6-SAM-II-Lens
Sony quietly announced a new DT 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 SAM II lens which is now sold as as a kit lens with the Sony Alpha SLT-A65 camera.


A new Tokina 11-16mm cinema lens is coming in September, the price is expected to be under $2000.

Pentax-Ricoh-Imaging-company
Pentax Japan announced a company name change: "Pentax Ricoh" from now on will be called "Ricoh" only. The Pentax brand of course will continue to exists.

Zeiss-logo
Carl Zeiss also officially changed their name from "Carl Zeiss" to "Zeiss" only.

July-11th-NYC-Launch-Invite
The new 41MP Nokia phone is coming on July 11th.
