Pentax will soon announce a new XG-1 camera (pictured above) that will replace the previous X5 model. Here are the leaked specifications:

  • Lens design: 15 elements in 13 groups, 6 aspherical elements

  • Continuous shooting at 9 fps, ultra high-speed continuous shooting at 60 frames per second (VGA), high-speed continuous shooting at 30 frames per second (4MP)
  • Auto tracking AF

  • 4 ~ 1/2000 sec shutter speed
  • Full HD video (1920 x 1080), 30 fps. H.264
  • HDR mode
  • Interval shooting function
