I am not sure if this is legit - here is the leaked information on a new  Canon C700x cinema camera:

  • All Frames Recorded with Following Data
  • GPS: Lat; Long; (degrees decimal) Elevation (meters)
  • Compass/Heading: (magnetic and degrees from true north)
  • MEMS Orientation: Roll; Yaw; Pitch (degrees decimal)
  • Clock Time (HH:MM:SS.MILLISECONDS)

In addition, the EOS Cinema lineup will be getting global shutter and 4K video.

The official announcement will most likely be at the 2015 NAB show (April 11-16th).
