I was pretty sure some people had gotten copies already, but that might have been their 15mm. This lens looks really interesting. I wonder how well it does on aps-c. It sure is pretty small for being a 15/2.8 that covers FF. I can’t wait to see some reviews.

Curious…why would you get this on APS-C when you can get lenses like the Tokina 11-16 F/2.8 for far cheaper? The Tokina is also rectilinear, sharp, F/2.8…and offers an even wider FoV on APS-C.

I was a Kickstarter investor and got my copy about a month ago. It is a 12mm 2.8, and I agree, I was surprised by how small it is. But, it is very sharp, and distortion is well controlled. It is not distortion free, but even compared to my Tamron 15-30, at 15, it has much lower distortion. There is mild field curvature at the edges, but hey, it’s a 12mm full frame lens! Set it for f8 and you have depth of field from less than a meter to infinity.

I tested the 12mm 2.8 lens with the shift adapter at the Photokina fair in Cologne last September, and I was positively surprised, I can agree with you it’s excellent, just waiting that next year prices will drop 🙂
