Panasonic will “preview” their new compact cinema camera on June 2nd

Panasonic will "preview" their new compact cinema camera on June 2nd at the Cine Gear Expo:

"Teased at NAB 2017, Panasonic will preview for the first time its new compact cinema camera. Be the first to learn more details on what is sure to be the industry’s most anticipated camera this Fall." (source: Cinegearexpo)

The mystery Panasonic compact video camera will most likely have a Super 35 (not MFT) sensor and Canon EF mount - the camera displayed at NAB had a Sigma 24-35mm f/2 Art full frame lens attached to it:

Looks like Panasonic is going to compete with Blackmagic’s Ursa Mini Pro. I hope they make the price as competitive, have built-in NDs, clean ISO 6400, 15-stop dynamic range, 4:4:4 10-bit internal recording to SSD or CFast. Ok, maybe that last one could be external, but these are just my wishes 😉
