Tamron 100-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di VC USD lens (model A035) for DSLR cameras announced


Tamron announced the development of a new 100-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di VC USD lens (model A035) for DSLR cameras (Nikon and Canon mounts).

The lens will be launched by the end of 2017. The US pricing is not yet available. The full press release can be found here.

      I’m half considering buying a Metabones EF-MFT smart adapter to be able to use such a lens, after the Panasonic/Leica 100-400 doesn’t seem to reliably offer decent image quality.

    Interesting! I will wait to see how good it is. What I really like is the collar which Sigma 100-400 does not have

    i hoe they will make for X-mount/Fujifilm… n cheaper than fuji did (I hope too). it said more light weight than other n more focus too, wow!!!!
