How the hell its so small ?! The f1.2 lens…

    • They probably compromised the IQ 😉

    • It’s basically a CCTV/C-mount lens on bit of steroids.

    • it’s not full frame

  • No filter ring on the 12mm? That’s kinda weird. The Samyang 12mm is a stop faster and has a filter ring that’s only 67mm in diagonal.

I bet it’ll performs similarly to the Miyazaki 35/1.4…which means full of artifacts and “signature”. Hmmm.

A real character? 7 Artisans is making lenses with soul again. Cant wait to see what magic this 35mm f1.2 has!

  • Both 7.5mm fish and now this 12mm f/2.8 remind me of Sony 16mm f/2.8 + VCL-ECF1 fish convertor and 16+VCL-ECU1 12mm convertor – size and the front elements look very similar. I have them all and love to use them (stopped down of course), quite handy combination, so let’s hope this 7artisan “possible versions” will perform better (in case of the fish lens there are 2 more elements than Sony combo has, but I’d still guess it’s very close).
