Two new lenses coming from Tokina: FíRIN 20mm f/2 FE AF and Opera 50mm f/1.4 FF

 
For the 2018 CP+ show next week Tokina is rumored to announce two new full frame lenses - the first one is the FíRIN 20mm f/2 FE AF mirrorless lens for Sony E-mount (replacement for the current version?), the second is a Opera 50mm f/1.4 FF DSLR lens for Nikon and Canon mounts:

  • Sony E mount
  • Lens configuration: 11 groups of 13
  • Filter size: 62 mm
  • Shortest shooting distance: 0.28 m
  • Maximum shooting magnification: 1: 10.29
  • Number of diaphragm blades: 9
  • Size: 73.4 mm × 81.5 mm
  • Weight: 464 g
  • Expected release date: End of April 2018
  • Is the announcement on February 23?

 

Tokina Opera 50mm f/1.4 FF lens

  • Full size digital single lens reflex compatible
  • Mount: For Canon · For Nikon
  • Ring type ultrasonic motor adopted
  • Dust-proof drip
  • For the first time at Tokinar adopted electromagnetic iris system for Nikon
  • The direction of rotation of the focus ring is the same as that of a genuine lens for both Canon and Nikon
  • Scheduled release date: Summer 2018
  • Is announcement on February 28?
