RED Hydrogen One phone was a flop, Hydrogen Two and a camera module are coming next

The CEO of RED Jim Jannard blamed the failure of the Hydrogen One phone to a Chinese manufacturer. A new Hydrogen Two phone is coming next as well as a camera module that will work with both phones models:

The new module is called Komodo and its capability will supposedly “vastly exceed” the one that was originally planned. Jannard says it won’t match the existing high-end RED cameras, unsurprisingly, but it’s intended to be a “complementary camera for cinema-grade images at the highest level at lower pricing.”
