Sony sold their $760 million stake in Olympus after investor Loeb’s demand



Sony is no longer holding any Olympus shares (Sony purchased approx. 12% share fro, Olympus back in 2012). Reuters reports that Sony sold their $760 million strake in Olympus after investor Loeb's suggested:

"Sony Corp is selling its 5% stake in Olympus Corp back to the Japanese medical equipment maker for 80.4 billion yen ($762.88 million), a move that Daniel Loeb’s activist hedge fund Third Point LLC had called for.:
