The Canon EOS R5 is coming before the 2020 Summer Olympics

According to the Japanese website Newswitch, the new Canon EOS R5 professional full-frame mirrorless camera (pictured above) will be officially announced before the 2020 Summer Olympics that start on July 24.

Here is what we know so far about the Canon EOS R5:

  • Newly Developed Full-Frame CMOS Sensor
  • 8K Video Recording
  • Up to 12 fps with Mechanical Shutter
  • In-Body Image Stabilization
