New K|Lens One lightfield lens for DSLR cameras coming to Kickstarter

A new K|Lens One lightfield lens for DSLR cameras is coming soon to Kickstarter. Here is what we know so far:

  • Completely new photo and video lens including Photoshop plugin
  • In addition to a color image, it also records depth information
  • Compatible with all common full-frame cameras (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.)
  • Can be ordered from September 2020

Here is a selection of the post-processing features of a K | Lens image or video:

  • Apply and modify depth gradient masks
  • Simplified segmentation
  • Control of focus and blur
  • Extended depth of field with strong bokeh at the same time
  • Correction of the focus plane (also in the range of cm for large portraits)
  • Tilt effects up to free shapes of the focus plane
  • Multiple focus planes in the image
  • 3D point clouds
  • Stereo photography
  • Generation of lenticular pictures
  • Multiview blur
  • Refocusable images
  • 3D images (like for Facebook)
