Reminder: Japan Industrial Partners will not use the Olympus brand once they take over

In case you have missed my blog posts from two weeks ago where I reported that Japan Industrial Partners will not use the Olympus brand after they take over the Olympus camera business at the end of the year. This means that if JIP decides to produce any new cameras and lenses, they will not be under the Olympus brand - similar to what JIP did with the Sony VAIO laptops (currently sold only as "VAIO").
